Compatible Labels for the New DYMO 550 and 5XL Label Printer
We at Awesome Pack have been selling Compatible Labels for DYMO for many years. But since the introduction of the DYMO 550 and 5XL which requires the original labels from DYMO, our Compatible labels for the DYMO 450 and 4XL label printers couldn't be used.
We are now Compatible labels for the DYMO 550 and 5XL label printer and it is 40% to 60% cheaper than the original labels from DYMO.
If you have the DYMO 5XL you can use the following Compatible Labels:

How much cheaper is Awesome Pack's Compatible labels for DYMO 550 and 5XL?
As of 29/04/2025:
The 104mm x 159mm shipping label (S0904980) currently sells for $69/roll and our Compatible label for the same label for 5XL is only $28/roll, that's a saving of 59% or a saving of $31/roll.
The 54mm x 101mm shipping label (99014) currently sells for $39.98/roll and our Compatible label for the same label for 550/5XL is only $17/roll, that's a saving of 57% or a saving of $22.98/roll.
The 36mm x 89mm shipping label (99012) currently sells for $24.50/roll and our Compatible label for the same label for 550/5XL is only $12/roll, that's a saving of 51% or a saving of $12.50/roll.
Are there better options to print shipping labels?
Although you can save around 50% by using our Compatible labels for 550/5XL it is very expensive when compared with other direct thermal printers. From the prices above Awesome Pack's Compatible Label S0904980 the typical shipping label size used by most couriers like Australia Post, Startrack, Fedex etc, the cost is still a very high 12.7 cents per label. While a Zebra ZD220D or the one we sell TSC DA210 can use a label of similar size 100x150mm with 350 labels per roll for only $14/roll which equates to only 4 cents per label. That's a saving of 68% or 8.7 cents per label printed.
Overall, as a general rule if you print more than 20 labels per day it make perfect sense to invest in a label printer that doesn't require label compatibility like the Zebra or TSC DA210 direct thermal printers. From the example above even just printing 20 labels per day you will save around $1.74 per day which is around $635/year. Most of our customers print around 50 labels/day which equates to around $4.3/day in savings of $1587/year! That's more than 3 times the cost of a Zebra ZD220D or TSC DA210 printer.
